This workshop is designed to give beginners with no experience a fun introduction to fusing glass in a kiln, (Fusing – joining pieces of glass together by melting them in a kiln ending in a flat piece of “fused” glass). This level workshop does not include slumping, all projects are flat, not shaped into 3D. We will be using float and compatible coloured glasses, (Bullseye glass) specifically made for fusing. 2 projects that can be taken home will be created during the workshop, such as tiles, drink coasters, door or wall plaques, wind chimes, jewellery etc.. The 2 separate firings will be at different temperatures to show the variance in glass fusing techniques.
